Hi there! I’m Cristina Alfaro — and I’m so excited to welcome you here!

My love for crafting began back in high school. I was always tinkering, gluing, stitching — creating little things that brought joy. But life took its turns, and crafting took a backseat for a while.

Then, in 2012, everything changed. I became a mom, and with that beautiful new chapter in my life came a rediscovered spark. I dove headfirst into all kinds of crafts, exploring every hobby you could imagine. But it was sewing that truly captured my heart.

It started with small projects — nothing fancy, just a way to create something special for my daughter Mila. I made her scrunchies to hold up her thick, gorgeous hair, and seeing her wear them lit a fire in me.

Since then, I’ve been on a journey of growth, self-discovery, and a whole lot of sewing! I even went back to college to pursue a career in Graphic Design, Illustration, and Pattern Design — all while balancing life, work, and being an active mom in my daughter’s school.

By 2022, I knew it was time to take things to the next level. After sewing over 1,000 scrunchies and dreaming of launching my own business for years, I’m finally opening my Shopify store on July 24, 2025!

This has been a journey filled with passion, persistence, and purpose. Every stitch, every design, every scrunchie has a little bit of love sewn in.
